Who can benefit?
- Parents seeking a holistic and science-backed approach to their child’s behavioural, mood, learning or developmental challenges
- Children with chronic digestive issues, fussy eating, mood imbalances, anxiety, ADHD, ASD or sensory concerns.
- Families—whether or not they have a diagnosis—who seek a personalised plan and expert guidance to help clear the roadblocks to functioning and thriving in daily life.

The Root of Behaviour & Mood

The Gut-Brain
The gut and brain continuously interact and influence each other, either functioning optimally to support a happy, emotionally balanced child or becoming dysregulated, which can contribute to neurodevelopmental challenges.
The brain relies on essential nutrients, and a well-balanced diet can enhance mood, cognition, and behaviour. The gut plays a crucial role in overall function and well-being—not only aiding nutrient absorption but also producing beneficial compounds that support brain health. Moreover, both internal and external toxins can reach the brain, potentially leading to changes in behaviour and mood.
Ultimately, the vagus nerve enables communication between the gut and brain, impacting digestion and our capacity to adjust to changes.

A Gut-Brain approach
I take a distinctive gut-brain approach, focusing on:
- Nutrition – Enhancing your child’s nervous system with optimal nutrients while supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes.
- Gut health – Promoting healthy digestion, improving gut function, fostering a balanced microbiome, and increasing food tolerance.
- Environmental factors – Identifying and minimizing exposure to allergens, irritants, and harmful substances that can impact gut and brain health.
- Stress management – Equipping you and your child with effective coping strategies and home-based exercises.
- Nervous system regulation – Utilizing craniosacral therapy to enhance vagal tone, supporting digestion and a healthy stress response.
- Functional medicine testing – Offering non-invasive home tests (stool, finger-prick, or urine) to evaluate gut health, immune function, chemical imbalances, and toxin levels.

2. Before the consultation
Parents complete a detailed health questionnaire. This helps me gain an understanding of your child’s health history and ensures that we can avoid discussing sensitive topics in front of the child.
I kindly ask you to talk to your child beforehand. It can help to set the right expectations and make him/her feel at ease when they first come.
Both parents are welcomed to attend. However, to maintain focus and minimise distractions, I recommend leaving siblings at home during a consultation.

3. During a consultation

Consultations take place on a floormat, sitting on a child’s desk while they are drawing or playing with soft toys or the plinth.
On the floormat, I am able to observe and recognise body language which can provide helpful insights. On the plinth, I am able to show parents helpful exercises.
Establishing trust and ensuring the child's comfort are essential. Therefore, I approach children with a compassionate, non-judgmental attitude, avoid the use of technical or medical terminology, ask questions that encourage curiosity, and respect their pace.
Consultations are interactive in nature, involving a thorough exploration of the symptoms, hands-on therapy, and time allocated to address any questions or concerns from the parents.
