Yoga classes

The morning Yoga classes are centred on movements and body awareness that stimulates your body to open up for the day and get insights to help see broader perspectives.

Agata uses Yoga, intuitive and somatic movement, breath and meditative journeying to connect you with your body, harness energy, and be in love with self. As cyclical moon creatures, whether you are menstruating or not, we will work on getting rid of the old and make space to bring in the new.

The evening Restorative Yoga  class revolves around resting yoga poses and deep relaxation.

Additionally, guided meditations are a lovely way to let go and be guided by Agata’s soothing voice to enter a deep relaxing state of awareness.

Nutrition and Healthy Cooking class

During the Nutrition and Healthy Cooking class you will be involved in food preparation, cooking and tasting. This is an amazingly relaxing and inspiring class is designed to:

  • make you fall in love with nutritious foods
  • help you understand the type of foods and meals that suit you

We have learnt from previous retreats that you will not come back the same after this weekend.

It is contagious! You will want to prepare meals for yourself and your close ones with delicious and healthy foods

Recipes will feature feel-good foods for women and discover the secret of balanced meals including healthy fats, carbs and snacks. The aim is to spark creativity and motivation to make healthy choices and cook delicious meals long after the retreat. Plus you will receive a handout with all the recipes.

Rock Farm is an organic farm in the heart of Boyne Valley. We will reside in the Lime House, an eco guesthouse.

The house has beautiful communal space where we will be practising Yoga and learning about nutrition and healthy cooking.

And 6 lovely and spacious bedrooms. 4 of them en suite, 2 rooms with shared bathroom. All rooms have 3 beds .

A truly ideal setting for anyone seeking reconnection to self, peaceful time and inner nourishment.

Meals

All meals are vegetarian, featuring seasonally grown vegetables, wholegrains, fruits, legumes, nuts and seeds, eggs and dairy. Please talk to us if you have specific dietary requirements.

Breakfast

Breakfasts are self-prepared. You will find a selection of fruits, seeds, nuts, breads, oats, dairy and non-dairy milks, cheese, eggs, butter, jams, honey, nut spreads, vegetable spreads and a selection of teas and coffee.

Dinner

Friday dinner is provided. Saturday dinner will be made communally during the Nutrition and Healthy cooking class.

Dinners include a selection of an entry plus a main dish featuring wholegrains, legumes and vegetables, i.e. roasted vegetable and quinoa, vegetable casserole or veg poke bowl. We promise something sweet and healthy too!

Lunch

A nutritious lunch prepared by Belén consisting of large salad, a vegetable torte or soup, freshly squeezed juices or smoothies and a selection of crackers and breads.

Snacks

A selection of teas, fruits and healthy snacks will be available all the time so no-one goes hungry in between meals. Feel free to grab a cuppa and some fruit before or after the yoga classes.

Other activities

  • Visit a nearby Slane Castle , Slane bridge with its lovely views or The Millhouse- a beautiful set wedding venue all in walking distances.
  • Country walk – enjoy the natural beauty of the forest and country side.
  • Village walk – visit Slane for its culture and small selection of shops and restaurants.
  • Chilling around the house and gardens - just bring your favourite book, and enjoy peaceful surroundings, gardens or beautiful patios.
  • You are be just 7.3km away from Newgrange- venture an 1,5h walk there or a 12 min drive.

Accommodation– Shared triple room

The Lime House boasts six large bedrooms, each bedroom with 3 beds. Four rooms are en-suite and two have a shared bathroom. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Please talk to us if you have specific requirements.

Each bedroom is fully furnished, fresh towels are provided and beds are presented fully dressed with fresh crisp linen. Cosy blankets are also provided to keep everyone nice and snug. The decor inside including the furniture creates a classic yet chic space for you to relax, unwind and find comfort.

  • Communal space for Yoga and gatherings,
  • Beautiful living space with wood burning stove for cooler evenings
  • Outside and inside dining area
  • Quiet places to rest/read inside and outside in the green, overlooking the beautiful surroundings

The outdoor space includes a large garden and outdoor dining and campfire area with scenic views of the beautiful rolling green fields and the village nestled in the valley and large covered outdoor decking area.

Meet the Instructors

Agata Rossini

Agata has been practising and teaching Yoga for the last 14 years, although her work with studying body, movement and wellness stretches throughout all her life.

Her preferred teaching styles are Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Hatha, Restorative Yoga, Iyengar and Yin. She teaches mediation and conversations with body. She is passionate about energy, moon and nature, which she brings all to the mat creating unique, deeply restorative, and transformational experiences.

She is passionate about healing movement, somatic movement and free dance.

Driven by her intuition, her classes are versatile and adapted to all levels. Every class blends elements of meditation, breath and easy energy work, movement and asanas adapted to group abilities, and deep guided relaxation – resulting in leaving the class feeling renewed, restored and often transformed.

Agata possesses broad experience with women around their childbearing years, fertility, pregnancy, post-delivery and motherhood.

She opened FitMum.ie, in 2009 as an instrument to promote and spread wellness for mums and mums to be.

Belén is the founder of

She works with families to optimise their health through nutrition and craniosacral therapy. A qualified Nutritional Therapist from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), she also holds a certification in Functional Medicine by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). Belén runs a busy children's clinic in Malahide since 2017.

She believes in the absolute power of food for health. Mother of three, she has a passion for creating tasty and nutritious recipes and regularly runs healthy cooking classes.

Belén has helped hundreds of children and their families build strong health foundations through her happy gut & happy brain approach.

Terms

Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. Note that we are only taking a small group of 15 people. Hence, the loss of one participant can have a big impact on our finances. Please inform us if you cannot attend or need to cancel at least 1 week before the start. Otherwise, we will keep the full amount of your booking.

We reserve the right to cancel the retreat a week before the start if there are insufficient numbers. In such case, we will fully reimburse those who had already booked.
