The Gut Health Transform Programme

Gut health

When the belly keeps hurting, food causes problems or digestion has gone awry, my experience tells me there is a story behind. There may be many reasons for your child tummy complaints and/or food aversions. These may be related to:

  • poor digestion
  • poor absorption
  • food reactions
  • lack of beneficial bacteria
  • gut infections
  • strong emotions/stress

I take time to listen to the child and parents to understand the underlying factors above. An in-depth questionnaire also provides useful insights and clues. Stool testing and food testing may be useful on a case-to-case basis to further clarify the state and function of the gut and microbiota, understand food reactions and target the support even more.

There are plenty of healthy diet options. But what is the right one for your child? Personalisation is the key to success. This means matching your child’s symptoms, physiology (how the body is working), health history and exposures to determine the kind of foods/diet that are most beneficial. I also provide guidance and educate parents so that they can be make dietary changes with ease and sustain them over time for lasting results.

Before a consultation

Book an appointment, fill out the questionnaire attached to the confirmation booking email and return at least 24hrs before we first meet. Please feel free to include any recent health tests.

The Gut Health Transform programme consists of 4 consultations over 8 weeks, €398. This includes:

  • 2 x 1h consultations, week 1 & 5
  • 2 x 30min consultations, week 3 & 8

Please note this is a one-off payment due after your initial consultation. No deposit is required at the time of booking. More on booking and payment terms.

I kindly ask you to talk to your child beforehand. It can help to set the right expectations and make him/her feel at ease when they first come. Both parents are welcomed. However, bringing siblings to the consultation is not encouraged as it can take away the focus and be a source of distraction.

Need some extra clarity? Book a 15-min free discovery call to discuss how can I best support you and your child.

During a consultation

Babies:

Consultations take place either in their parents’ arms or a floormat depending on the stage of development of the baby. On the floormat, I am able to observe and recognise baby language which can provide helpful insights. On the plinth, I am able to show parents helpful exercises.

Toddlers & Older Children:

Consultations take place on a floormat, sitting on a child’s desk while they are drawing or playing with soft toys or the plinth.

Building trust and making a child comfortable is key. That is why I approach children with a caring, non-judgemental attitude, avoid technical/medical language, ask questions to draw curiosity, and respect their timings.

Consultations are dynamic. There will be a gentle exploration of the story and symptoms with both parents and child, hands-on therapy time as well as time to answer questions/concerns from the parents.
