Consider other causes

Thank you for taking the time to do this questionnaire.

Not all crying/fussiness is related to colic. Here are a number of factors that can contribute to an altered nervous system which can manifest as crying/fussy behaviour in a baby:

  • unresolved trauma from birth
  • physical restrictions
  • bonding issues
  • medical interventions/treatments
  • separation in the early days
  • overstimulation
  • poor routine
  • feeding issues

You are encouraged to pay attention to routine and home environment to promote a sense of safety and reassurance onto your baby.
